Question 1

What is a certificate of analysis (COA)?

Accepted Answer

A COA is the analytical report for one production batch. It states the batch or lot number, confirms identity by LC-MS, reports purity measured by HPLC, gives net peptide content per vial, and includes the chromatogram behind those numbers. It is the document that lets you verify what is actually in the vial instead of trusting a label.

Question 2

Do I get a COA with my order?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A batch-specific certificate is included with every purchase. Once your order is placed, the matching COA documents appear on your order in My Orders, where you can view them or download them all at once. Each copy is watermarked to your account.

Question 3

What does 99%+ purity mean?

Accepted Answer

It means HPLC analysis of that batch measured the main peak at 99% or more of total peak area. The exact measured figure for your batch is printed on your certificate — we publish the 99%+ threshold, and the report gives the precise number.

Question 4

Can I see a COA before I buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a full sample report is available on the Sample COA tab of the catalog so you can see the format, the lab, and the level of detail before you spend anything.

Question 5

How much is shipping and how long does it take?

Accepted Answer

Shipping is a flat $9.00 by USPS Ground Advantage anywhere in the United States. Orders are typically packed within 1–2 business days of payment being confirmed, and USPS Ground Advantage usually delivers in 2–5 business days after that.

Question 6

Do I get a tracking number?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A USPS tracking number is added to your order as soon as it ships, and you can follow the status on your order page. You will also be notified by email when the status changes.

Question 7

How are vials packed?

Accepted Answer

Vials ship lyophilized and sealed in protective packaging. Lyophilized powder is stable through normal transit at ambient temperature; refrigeration matters after reconstitution, not in transit.

Question 8

Do you ship outside the United States?

Accepted Answer

No. Orders are shipped to United States addresses only.

Question 9

How does payment work?

Accepted Answer

Checkout is a two-step, manual process. You place the order and we show you the exact total plus your order reference. You then send that exact amount by Zelle (admin@miamivicepeptides.org) or Cash App ($MVPeptides) using the details shown at checkout, and upload a screenshot of the completed payment. We review the proof and move the order to awaiting shipping.

Question 10

Why do I need to put my order reference in the payment note?

Accepted Answer

The reference is how your transfer gets matched to your order. Without it, a payment can sit unmatched and your order will not move forward. Checkout shows the reference in a copy-to-clipboard box so you can paste it straight into the Zelle memo or Cash App note.

Question 11

How long until my payment is confirmed?

Accepted Answer

Payment proof is normally reviewed within one business day. You will get an email when it is approved, and the order automatically moves to awaiting shipping at that point.

Question 12

Do you accept credit cards?

Accepted Answer

Not at this time. Payment is by Zelle or Cash App only.

Question 13

Do you have promo codes?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If you have been given a code, enter it at checkout at any point before you place the order. It reduces your item subtotal; the flat $9.00 shipping fee still applies.

Question 14

Why do I need to be verified to check out?

Accepted Answer

These are research reference materials, so purchases are limited to verified buyers who confirm in-vitro laboratory research use. You can browse the catalog and product pages freely, but checkout requires an approved account.

Question 15

How long does verification take?

Accepted Answer

Requests are usually reviewed within one business day. You submit your name, email and intended in-vitro research use, and you get an email as soon as the request is approved or declined.

Question 16

What happens after I am approved?

Accepted Answer

Your account shows a verified badge, checkout unlocks, and the full COA documents attached to your orders become available to you.

Question 17

Are these products for human use?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything sold here is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. These are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or medical devices, and they are not for human or veterinary use.

Question 18

How should I store a lyophilized vial?

Accepted Answer

Keep sealed lyophilized vials dry, protected from light, and at -20°C for long-term storage. Short ambient transit is fine for lyophilized powder.

Question 19

How do I reconstitute a vial?

Accepted Answer

Bring the vial to room temperature, then add bacteriostatic or sterile water slowly down the inside wall rather than directly onto the cake. Swirl gently until dissolved — do not shake or vortex hard. Record the lot, diluent volume and date so your working concentration traces back to the batch COA. Store the reconstituted vial at 2–8°C and aliquot to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
